Chaplain Joshua Sebastian — JCSGO OIC & Assistant Senior Pastor

I rise in peace with God’s power today, I choose to rise not in fear, not in worry, but in the peace that comes from trusting God completely. I rise knowing that His presence goes before me, His peace guards my heart, and His power strengthens my steps. Whatever this day holds, I am not walking alone. God’s power is at work in me, through me, and for me. Because of Him, I can stand firm, move forward, and rejoice!
“The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” — Psalm 29:11
I love You Lord! I love my family! Lord thank You for my life! Thank You Jesus for giving me the best day ever!
Battlesong 2026: “Rise with God’s Power!”
As part of Battle Cry 2026, Chaplain Josh also wrote this year’s battlesong — sung together as a declaration over the year ahead.
Verse 1
The calendar turns, the Holy Spirit is set,
My flesh is weak, but my spirit is led…
I watch and pray, keep my lamp burning bright,
Dressed and ready for service, stepping into the light.Pre-Chorus
I rise in peace, I rise in power,
Covered by grace in this very hour.
No fear can stand, no storm can stay,
For Christ my King leads all the way.Chorus
In Christ Jesus, I watch and pray
To walk in strength and truth each day.
My faith stands firm, my heart is fixed,
I rise in peace with God’s power!Bridge
Your Spirit moves, my steps are light,
You guard my soul through day and night.
Your truth my shield, your love my song,
In You, O Lord, I’m always strong.
